Brazil: police puzzle over skull 7 gift box

RIO DE JANEIRO (AP)-police in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo is baffled by a macabre puzzle: someone has left gift-wrapped human skulls around the city.

Investigator Paul Henry Bozon Verduraz described the event to the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo in a story published Thursday.

The first skull in Cherry Red wrapping was found on 20 February in a planter near a residential building in the Centre. Since then, seven others were found near Mormon temples or consulates, including those for Russia, the Czech Republic and South Africa. The skulls are old, with dirt.

Verduraz says security cameras captured images of a woman in an ankle-length skirt, leaving the skulls, they seem old, with dirt. Do you think this might be part of some sort of ritual.
